Geothermal energy is particularly heat energy that is harnessed from the earth and it is the most reliable, effective and sustainable source of energy for producing energy, the only drawback is that it is only limited in some places. Plus this kind of energy is environmentally friendly, although they produce some hazardous gases it is still little compared the amount of gases conventional power plants emit.
Geothermal energy is just one of the many renewable resources that are available, other include solar energy that helps produce electricity by means of solar panels. Another is wind energy that can be harnessed using wind turbines, along with water turbines; water energy can also be harnessed to produce electricity. There are so many renewable energies that we can harness to produce electricity and reduce green house gases in the atmosphere to save our planet. Surely in the future we will find even better and cleaner ways to produce electricity without the risk or harmful gases.
