The third season of True Blood reveals the mystery world of more fantastic creatures. The vampires, of coarse are present but joining them are the werewolves. In this season, Bill Compton is revealed to be kidnapped by werewolves then later on gets to be the unwilling guest of the king of Mississippi. Sookie, who is still clueless if she’s even human goes in a quest to follows her beau and ups in the company of Alcide, a werewolf sent by the magnetic vampire Eric Northman.
Stephen Moyer let slip in one of his interviews that the filming of the show had been delayed for a long time because of the Writer’s Guild of America strike that devastated the showbiz industry way back in 2007-2008. In the great scheme of life, the hiatus may have done good for the show. The production team had time to improve the quality of the show and to include characters who may make lives for the heroes juicier. That Maenad deal is rich in ahem.. visual boldness but it was a pain to watch Maryann vibrating like a thousand year old, 12 feet gong.
